Easy to wire up once you understand how the power and lights work.
Watched a few different YouTube videos to figure out how it would work best in my situation.
I’m not electrically inclined…
My old cable between my throttle and Navy 6.0 was frayed at the motor connection and it was still in warranty so Tiny Boat sent me a new one that day and I got it in a couple days! Excellent service. Thank you TBN!!!
exactly what I was looking for, worked perfectly, the videos helped the most. if I need anything I will get it here. Thanksgiving
This jack plate functions perfectly, couple things that are ehh with it like depending on what motor u have clearance can be weird and u might have to grind down some metal. And the pre-drilled holes didn’t line up with my metal transom but besides from small installation hiccups the jack plate works just as advertised. I have a 1544 g3 with a Yamaha 25hp tiller on it and my top speed went from 25 to 31. I can run in almost 10”-12” of water. And for getting up super shallow creeks where u can 8” of water I was able to idle up river with the jack plate. I would buy it again if I had the choice but would have got the electric one.
Make sure it works with ur motor and measure twice and cut once
The wood transom on my 15' Jon boat rotted out and I was looking around for a long term repair. All the local aluminum weldors are too busy to work on a little transom repair so I started searching for a solution. I watched several videos on wood and aluminum replacements. TBN's video on the aluminum replacement was the most informative not only for the install but also the little tricks to make it as simple as possible. Going aluminum also meant this was going to last the boat's lifetime. TBN's instructions for ordering the transom was clear and easy to do (you just need a tape measure.) Once ordered, it was delivered within a few days. The installation was easy. As I mentioned above, TBN's video was VERY informative. I attached some before, during and after pics. Thanks TBN!!!
First time using and installing self routing Hydroturf. Used cordless router with 1/4 spiral bit to route lines. Seems to be a good product and adhesive backing sticks well.
Works on big boats too. just as described, fit 2- 10inch graphs perfect. Clears the pedal aswell
Awesome well made quality products. Will definitely buy again.
I love this motor no hassles no oil no noise. So glad I got the Newport because I have arms on my boat seat and if it didn’t have the pullout handle I would have had a problem
It’s also nice to be able to adjust your arm placement. I added a 2” lift as we river fish and often stop on the sandbar. BTW here is a hack for the TBN followers Captain seats with arms are 200$ plus I bought office chairs and with a little ingenuity made them fit the swivel much better value tell my fellow beardsman hello his video was really informative
This kit was a real game-changer, especially those instructional videos that made everything crystal clear. Fireant’s method was fantastic at breaking things down so it was easy to understand.
Very happy with the quality and the look of this hat!
These really are well made. I cut a 12x24 into the rear bench and added a drop in bin. Game changer in a jon boat.
Very glad i purchased this and not the carbon marine tiller extension very nice upgrade looks good with the mercury black
I bought this handle to replace a junky plastic Bass Pro extension handle. The TBN handle is solid aluminum and has a cord wrapped hand grip. This is what a tiller extension is supposed to be. If you need an extension, do yourself a favor and buy this one! Big shoutout to Tiny Boat Nation! Check out my video review- https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTB1cA2YX/
Now that I've got them on I love them. Will give it a few months see how they hold up. I believe these are going to be a very good setup for our trailer.
Had an issue where my motor wasn't working and the tiller calibration process would error out…TBN helped identify that it was an issue with the tiller control board and a new one fixed the problem!
Very happy so far. Easy process to order, receive and setup. With limited use to date, runs well and is very efficient.
Installed fairly easy.
Bolts lined up perfectly with no drilling.
I bought this as part of a setup to replace the integrated battery that comes with the E Propulsion Spirit 1.0 Plus. The E Propulsion battery failed after a little more than 4 years of gentle care and light usage. From what I've read 4 years or less is not unusual. I went with a Power House battery and my new setup was much cheaper than buying a new E Propulsion battery, it gives the flexibility to continue to select a different battery in the future, and the Power House battery has a much better warranty. So far, the charger is working as expected. I had to contact Power House and I'll probably need to do that in the future because their manuals are lacking detail. Power House was helpful via phone, but I've sent them a few emails and they didn't respond. The Support at TBN has been very good. I wanted to make sure everything would work as I expected before spending a large sum of money. Also, I had a minor issue with my order. Ryan at TBN was very knowledgeable about the products and very helpful in clearing up my issue. In the future I will definitely go to TBN for my boating needs.
I bought this to replace the integrated battery that comes with the E Propulsion Spirit 1.0 Plus. The E Propulsion battery failed after a little more than 4 years of gentle care and light usage, and from what I've read 4 years or less is not unusual. Along with the Power House battery I had to purchase an E Propulsion external battery cable and the Power House lithium battery charger. I went with the new setup because it was much cheaper than a new E Propulsion battery, the Power House battery has a longer warranty, and I have the flexibility to continue to select a different battery in the future.
So far, I've only used it for a little more than a few hours under light load with little wind and current, but everything is working as expected. I have the following comments:
1) I had to contact Power House and I'll probably need to do that in the future. Their website does not have a manual for this battery, so they emailed me one. Also, the attributes/settings in the Power House Bluetooth App are not clearly explained, and the manual could provide more detail. For example, the app shows 3 different battery temperatures with no indication as to what is being measured in each. Power House was helpful via phone, but I've sent them a few emails and they didn't respond.
2) This is not unexpected, but the indicators in the Bluetooth App do not match the indicators on the E Propulsion motor. The Bluetooth App provides much more information and is much more accurate per the TBN Tech. For example, regardless of my speed and the amount of time I used it, the motor constantly indicated that I had about 10 hours of runtime left. The Bluetooth app is a must, especially if your usage pushes the limits of the battery.
3) I look forward to getting proficient with the Bluetooth App. It's really nice feature to be able to monitor the battery in detail without the need to connect it to the motor as is required with the E Propulsion battery.
4) The Support at TBN has been very good. I wanted to make sure everything would work as I expected before spending a large sum of money. Also, I had a minor issue with my order. Ryan at TBN was very knowledgeable about the products and very helpful in clearing up my issue. In the future I will definitely go to TBN for my boating needs.
