EPropulsion eLite 1.5hp 500W Electric Outboard Motor

Got this for my esquif heron. It has been perfect for rivers and lakes in Pennsylvanian. Running it unlocked works great for various water depths and still enables responsive steering. The battery life is impressive.

I'm blown away by how amazing this motor is. It was well-packed, clearly labeled, easy to install, easy to charge, and it runs like a top. It is exactly what I was looking for.

The video at TBNation really helped me make the decision. It was so clearly produced, and it answered all my questions before I even had them. That's pretty amazing.

Just finished a vacation on the Little Red River in Arkansas. I took the Sea Eagle FishSUP126 and my elite 500w. I would use it every morning to push me up the river with an ice chest(small), a life vest, fishing vest, a Tenkara rod and a fly rod. At full speed, against an average current, I would go exactly 1 mile upstream and then float back using the motor as a troller to correct my float from time to time. I usually had 50% battery left by the time I got back. I was a doubter of electric motors, for quite a while, no longer. The ease of use and minimal presence onboard, as well as the weight advantage, has really sold me on this motor. It performed perfectly for exactly what I wanted to accomplish. Good job. My only recommendation would be a ‘big brother’ 750/1000w for a little longer range. 10/10 recommend.

Battery last long time plenty of power love the integrated battery. Definitely worth every penny.

Installed on a Panther marine outboard bracket on a zodiac futura mk2 13.5ft. The mounting hardware seems a little flimsy in the stowed position out of the water. The clamps will come loose after a while operating 4stroke Yamaha 25hp. Glad I didn’t lose it! The mounting bracket is plastic so tightening it is a little scary. There are no holes in tightening clamps so you can’t put any sort of anti rotational hardware or safety wire to keep them from backing out. So check often and don’t operate without some sort or lanyard attached. I am using 550 cord at the moment. At 500w operating speed and main out of the water the boat clips along about 5-7 mph I’d guess at a rate of about 1% battery power per minute. Nice backup overall and moved me against in coming tide head on wind of 12-15kts.

Great little motor, perfectly moves my 9ft inflatable to 3 knots, comparable to the 2hp that I replaced, lasts about 45 minutes at 500kw as stated... superlight so I store inside my boat during transit...

The ePropulsion eLite works perfectly on my Nucanoe f12. Easy to put on and remove and plenty of power for the kayak.

Love this motor and it’s going to do the job for me to get from the dock to my sailboat.

They have really nailed the convenience factor on all the controls. Even the way the motor comes on/off the transom mount is great (can do it easily one handed). It could have half the power and range and still be more than adequate for a small sailboat. Sailboats mostly needs power getting off the dock until we get the sails up, and the reverse coming in. Compared to the 2 HP gas outboard it replaced, there is no hassle starting it and it just RUNS, and practically silently. Also, most small outboards don't have proper reverse. This does.

It took a little longer to arrive than desired, but once we got it was exactly what we needed. It was easy to install and operate, and is perfect for moving a slow speeds with smaller vessels.

I received my product, which was Elite motor. After unboxing it, it displayed a critical fault on its screen. I contacted Tiny Boat nation, and they immediately responded to me and made things right. Their customer service was excellent. I give them high ratings for that. The replacement product that I received worked perfectly. Great job you guys and thank you.

I have not had an opportunity to use this very much. However, it has measured up to expectations for what time I have used it. I believe it is going to be a perfect fit for my needs. I don't know of another product that gives me the combination of features, quality and price this one does.

I am loving this light weight powerful little electric outboard. My main concern was how long I could be on the water before the charge ran out. On small ponds or any body of water that you don't intend to run great distances, then this is ideal. I fished all over a local 105 acre lake and had no worries about running low on charge. It's a wonderful little outboard.

weight, size, ergonomics are all great. it’s all we need (well, plus the dinghy) to toss in the river after dinner and mosey upstream

Just tried it out on our pond. Spent 1 hour just trying it out on a 12 foot jon boat. More than enough power. Great maneuverability and totally easy to use.
When we finished and it still had 85% battery left. Really cool motor. Love it.

No more gas. No more heavy battery. This lightweight motor is perfect power for my dinghy to transport the dog and guests from my yacht to the beach, sandbar or dock and back.

All I need this for is to get our 10ft dingy to and from our 33 searay to the beach. searay anchored 100 yards out in Lake. this seams totally capable and the right choice for this job. first real use will be in a month.

I received my E light motor about a week ago. I haven’t yet had a chance to test it out on the water, but I was impressed with the quality of the motor and it’s associated parts. Looking forward to trying it out soon.

I believe it is going to work great on my new Radisson canoe with a square back. As soon as the ice goes off I will give it a try. Northern Michigan will probably be April. I ordered early in case tariffs went on against China. Nice product. Thanks

It's a good little electric motor for getting around on shorter trips. Biggest pluses are No Gas, quiet operation, light weight. The minus is that it will never replace the fun and speed of our old 2-stoke 8hp, but we were not expecting that kind of thrust.

So far, I think it’s awesome! It’s plenty powerful for my small inflatable dinghy and super quiet. The people in my marina were amazed at how quiet it was compared to most people’s gas powered motors. I also used a solar panel to recharge it when it was done with its maiden voyage. That was huge for me!

The only criticism I have is that I lost the tilt pin on my first time out. It should have a tether line to prevent it from getting lost.

Overall I am very pleased with the Epropulsion electric outboard, and plan to use it frequently in the future.

Put the elite on my 8’10” inflatable fiberglass bottom dinghy. It’s perfect. Easy to take on and off. Motors around the anchorage stealthily. The kick up feature for shallow water is useful. Battery life is superb. Doesn’t pull a skier 😜

I love it. It will work great on my day sailer to get me out of the harbor

I admit I was concerned about run time. No more. I put on a takacat 340, and as you get minimal increase in speed winding it up, I am pleased to report I'm getting multiple hours running at lower wattage and still moving along at 3 mph.
