Took it out for the first time and really impressed with how stable it is on the water. Paired well with my spirit 1.0. Felt solid and rigid while going through chop and could walk around the skiff effortlessly. Looks really well built and durable from what i can see. Also having it come with railblaza ports is nice too. So far I’m loving this skiff and looking forward to many great trips on it.

Well after a shipping issue I finally got my skiff. And man let me tell you, it’s everything as advertised. I took it out on a local lake with a 55lb thrust electric motor and fished for a couple hours. Tried the front and the back. Casting and testing the buoyancy. Very sturdy. Love it so far. Ordered a 9.9 Suzuki outboard. Let you know how it rates.

A Certified Old Boat Junkie!
Being a boater for over 60 years and having owned dozens of fishing boats, I’m very happy with the initial set up and quality. I study everything to the 9th degree before making any purchase. Spending a fair amount of money and buying it sight unseen, plus my research on Utube and my experience came down to three boats. I fish small rivers for smallmouth, lakes for largemouth and crappies. The five things that sold me were the stand up grab bar, a front deck to mount a trolling motor, “the full rubber bottom”, the ability to fish skinny water plus bigger lakes and being able to take it on RV trips. It will be rigged with a new 5 hp Merc and with all kayak accessories and some custom rigging. The boat is too small in trying to make a full blown bass boat out of it. Besides rigging, there’s a garage storage cart, a campground breakdown trailer to build and travel storage for my truck and RV. How my boats perform in allowing me to fish a multitude different waters are more important than my tackle. Still searching for a boat name. Thanks 😎 Captain! Dan!

No sun shade, but you could probably fabricate an aftermarket one to fit on there by glueing the connections to the boat. No solar option included in the package

Can you put this in truck bed inflated?
Yes, the FIshTuff14 can be put in a Truck Bed Inflated, it is 52" Wide at the centerline fully inflated. Depending on the truck model it will fit snug between the wheel wells fully inflated, and easily above the wheel wells of any truck. If you have any issues you can lightly uninflate the side pontoons to slide it between the wheel wells of any truck.

Dan, Yes we sell Newport Electric Outboard Motors & Batteries. The motor packages you see here bundled with the FishTuff14 Boat INCLUDES the associated battery packs and charger to set you up with a ready to get on the water package! The NT600 package with the FishTuff14 comes with the Newport LoPro 48v 70ah Battery Pack which is the most common setup for the NT600 motor.

Have you tried rigging the sight deck onto a Newport NS 130? It seems the width would work and the D rings could on the inside of the ns130 could be used to stabilize and secure in every direction.
Todd, great answer, the SIGHTDECK can totally be used on other boats such as the Newport NS130. Currently the deck is only available with FishTuff Boat packages. Next year it will be available as an individual accessory.
