ADD Ring Terminals on Electric Outboards for 3rd Party Battery

This Product is ONLY an addition on Electric Outboards like the EPropulsion Navy 3.0 & 6.0 where we remove the Amphenol Sur-Lok Connectors used by their proprietary battery and properly install marine-rated Tinned Copper Ring Terminals for use on a 3rd Party Battery. Such as your own or our highly recommended EPOCH 48V 100ah Lithium or PowerHouse 173ah Batteries.

TBNation went the extra mile

TBNation went the extra mile. I ordered the Navy 3.0 with ring terminals and then asked several times about delivery. To expedite delivery, they had the motor drop shipped from the distributer's warehouse, bypassing their opportunity to replace the fancy ePropulsion connectors in their shop. So they sent me the ring kit, along with a crimper that I could use to achieve a professional quality installation. I am a DYI kind of guy and I could then use the crimper to install 8AWG cabling to a dry location in the cabin to connect the battery charger and remote battery management panel that came with the battery. The photo shows that the battery itself fills the old gasoline tank space. I found the fancy connectors listed on eBay for $70 each but couldn't find any reasonable way to use them. BTW, I would not recommend anything less than a marine rated battery if your boat can't provide suitable weather protection. See my motor and tiller reviews.
