Mercury Avator - Portable 3HP Electric Outboard

Meet the Mercury Avator 7.5e, a compact, quick-to-rig electric outboard that delivers speed and acceleration similar to a 3.5hp gas motor, without fumes, pull-starts, or oil changes. The1 kWh quick-connect battery slides under the cowl (no cables), and the color display shows speed, range, and runtime so you boat with confidence. Available in tiller 15"/20"/25" shaft length options.

Why Boaters Choose the Mercury Avator 7.5e 3HP

  • Easy power:  Quick-connect 1 kWh battery under the cowl; swap spares in seconds.
  • Real performance:  750W at the prop shaft (916W input) with torque-rich transverse-flux motor—smooth, quiet thrust comparable to a 3.5hp gas outboard.
  • Go farther, smarter:  Up to ~34 miles / 19 hours @ 25% throttle; about5 miles / ~60 min @ full throttle on a Veer V13 test boat (varies by load/boat).
  • Portable & low-maintenance:  43–46.3 lb (motor only) + 17 lb battery; no fuel, no mess.

Speed depends on hull, weight, and conditions. Expect performance roughly similar to a3.5hp gas outboard on like-for-like boats.

Mercury’s Veer V13 test shows~60 min @ WOT and~19 hr @ 25% with one 1 kWh battery. Add a spare for 2× the range.

3. How long to charge?
The included110W charger can recharge a depleted 1 kWh battery in roughly an overnight window; higher-speed chargers are available.

Depending on your choice of variant and speed, you can expect between 1.5 hours at wide-open throttle to over 5 hours at trolling speeds. Both options offer exceptional range.

Absolutely. The sea eagle fishskiff completely deflates and rolls up, while the electric outboard motor features a quick-release battery and foldable design, eliminating the need for a trailer.

This varies heavily by country and region. While electric outboard setups often bypass strict gas engine regulations, many locations still require a basic watercraft registration for any motorized sea eagle boat.

Absolutely. The sea eagle boat features a high-pressure 1000 Denier drop-stitch hull that inflates up to 15 psi, making the deck as rock-solid as a rigid fiberglass platform so you can cast with total confidence.

Yes, both the sea eagle fishskiff and the epropulsion motor are fully engineered for harsh marine environments. The motor features high-quality anodized aluminum and powder coating to resist corrosion, though we always recommend a quick freshwater rinse after a salt run.

You can go from a completely packed car trunk to floating on the water in roughly 12 to 15 minutes using an electric pump, completely eliminating the need for boat ramps or storage fees.

Yes! The integrated lithium battery supports on-the-go charging via compatible solar panels, allowing you to seamlessly extend your range on sunny days while running your epropulsion motor.
