I 'm concerned about the corrosion effect of the treated lumber on aluminum, I was told carpet was enough of a barrier, but don't believe it, wondering if your product is enough of a barrier?

Yes, this would be a much better option because the silicone allows the water to run off instead of being trapped between the hull and the bunk
