Meet the Mercury Avator 7.5e, a compact, quick-to-rig electric outboard that delivers speed and acceleration similar to a 3.5hp gas motor, without fumes, pull-starts, or oil changes. The1 kWh quick-connect battery slides under the cowl (no cables), and the color display shows speed, range, and runtime so you boat with confidence. Available in tiller 15"/20"/25" shaft length options.
(Single 1 kWh battery; calm water; light load; your results will vary.)
Pro tip: Add a spare 1 kWh battery and the230W or 520W fast charger to extend your day and shorten pit-stops.
If you’re unsure, message our team with your transom height and boat make/length, we’ll confirm fit in one business day.
Backed by Mercury’s limited warranty; register the outboard and battery separately. Click here to know more about Mercury Warranties.
1. How fast will it push my boat?
Speed depends on hull, weight, and conditions. Expect performance roughly similar to a3.5hp gas outboard on like-for-like boats.
2. How long does it run?
Mercury’s Veer V13 test shows~60 min @ WOT and~19 hr @ 25% with one 1 kWh battery. Add a spare for 2× the range.
3. How long to charge?
The included110W charger can recharge a depleted 1 kWh battery in roughly an overnight window; higher-speed chargers are available.
Notice the key differences between the leading 3hp-class electric outboards.
