I'm restoring a 14' Gregor boat. After installing a new transom it felt a bit thin to hold an outboard. I saw this aluminum piece and decided to buy and try it.. It fits perfectly!!
Looks terrific and is super sturdy! Had to modify it a bit to fit it around the transom support slats
But being aluminum the job was simple.
The outboard motor now has a strong mount!
Super happy!

I was very pleased with the transom mount. I made the mistake of ordering the wrong size but I made it work with some washers and some flat spacers. I needed the 1"-1/2 and didn't realize I ordered the 1"-3/4

This piece is a bit on the pricey side, but it is exactly what I was looking for. It shipped very fast and is well made. I searched a lot of sites for something similar, but TBN was the only place that had this type of support. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Great pick me up for a tired stern, good product good fit

It wrapped around my transom like a glove perfect sizing, quality material & exactly what I needed to mount my motor with no worries.

I received the mounting bracket and tried it on the transom of my 1982 Bass Tracker jon boat. I had to have some welding work done prior to installing. The fit was right on, 1 1/2", perfect. I had to shim the bottom of the bracket on the inside for a tight fit all the way down. It worked out nicely. I would recommend that part of the install if needed. Great clean option, Thanks. Bill

Expensive but this transom support made a big difference on our 14’ fiberglass skiff. Definitely extended the life of this awesome little boat. Super easy installation.

This is only an install review not an operational review or long term. Purchased product to help remedy high stress area of my transom due to flex. Install went good. 90 degree bends look fine (no cracking and grain of metal correct direction for bend). Prepped and painted bracket to reduce corrosion potential. Installed bracket over transom with marine grade sealant/adhesive. Installed and bolted outboard down while adhesive was still wet. Not issues at this moment with product.
