Torqeedo Cruise 6.0 R TorqLink – Powerful 48V 9.9HP Electric Outboard for Larger Sailboats and Commercial Vessels

FREE $200 TBN Gift Card with Outboard Motor Purchase

The Torqeedo Cruise 6.0 RS is a high-performance 48V electric outboard motor delivering the equivalent of 9.9 HP, making it an ideal solution for motorboats, sailboats, dinghies, and light commercial vessels up to 6 tons.

All Cruise models are equipped with a built-in GPS, onboard computer, and integrated display, providing real-time data on speed, input power, battery charge, and remaining range. Designed for efficiency and durability, the Cruise features a lightweight, low-drag pylon and advanced helical gear design for ultra-smooth, quiet operation.

This RS version comes equipped with TorqLink, Torqeedo’s advanced communication system for seamless integration and high-speed data exchange between components like the Power 48-5000 battery and TorqLink throttles (sold separately). It's also available in tiller-steered and fixed pod configurations.

Cruise 6.0 RS – Key Benefits:

  • 6,000 W input power – electric equivalent of a 9.9 HP gas outboard
  • Best paired with the Power 48-5000 lithium battery for optimal performance and precise range monitoring
  • Remote steering-ready (RS model) – includes steering link arm compatible with standard marine systems
  • Compatible with TorqLink throttles (recommended: 1976-00 with integrated color display)
  • Durable marine-grade aluminum pylon with integrated fin for impact protection
  • Built to withstand saltwater environments with premium corrosion protection and anodized components
  • Includes anode set for both freshwater and saltwater use
  • Can also be used with third-party 48V battery systems, with correct power matching and cable set 1990-00

* Torqeedo static thrust measurement is based on internationally accepted ISO standards. Static thrust figures for conventional trolling motors are typically measured differently, which results in higher values. To compare Torqeedo static thrust data with conventional trolling motors, add approximately 50% to the Torqeedo static thrust values.

Depending on your choice of variant and speed, you can expect between 1.5 hours at wide-open throttle to over 5 hours at trolling speeds. Both options offer exceptional range.

Absolutely. The sea eagle fishskiff completely deflates and rolls up, while the electric outboard motor features a quick-release battery and foldable design, eliminating the need for a trailer.

This varies heavily by country and region. While electric outboard setups often bypass strict gas engine regulations, many locations still require a basic watercraft registration for any motorized sea eagle boat.

Absolutely. The sea eagle boat features a high-pressure 1000 Denier drop-stitch hull that inflates up to 15 psi, making the deck as rock-solid as a rigid fiberglass platform so you can cast with total confidence.

Yes, both the sea eagle fishskiff and the epropulsion motor are fully engineered for harsh marine environments. The motor features high-quality anodized aluminum and powder coating to resist corrosion, though we always recommend a quick freshwater rinse after a salt run.

You can go from a completely packed car trunk to floating on the water in roughly 12 to 15 minutes using an electric pump, completely eliminating the need for boat ramps or storage fees.

Yes! The integrated lithium battery supports on-the-go charging via compatible solar panels, allowing you to seamlessly extend your range on sunny days while running your epropulsion motor.
