How to Find Your Shaft Length:

If you are looking for an ePropulsion electric outboard for your boat, choosing the correct shaft length is important.

Please note that ePropulsion has a different shaft length measurement from gas-powered outboards. For electric outboards, the shaft length is measured from the top of the clamp bracket to the center of the propeller. For gas outboards, it’s measured from the top of the clamp bracket to the anti-ventilation plate.

For boats with a transom height higher than 50 cm / 19.7 inches, a long shaft version is more suitable. For daysailers, sports boats, and other sailing boats it’s best to measure the distance from the water line to the top of your outboard mount.

The guys were super helpful with everything! I even had to change my engine size and Nick took care of it right away! They are so nice and easy to deal with. I totally recommend Tiny boat nation I anyone getting small or really any size boat gear!

Lover the Navy 6.0

I put the Navy 6.0 on a 20’ pontoon boat. It runs very efficiently. I have it paired with a 51.2V 180 Ahr Lithium Iron Phosphate battery pack I already owned. This yields about 2-8hr or endurance depending on the speed. Best cruising speed seems to be about 5 mph at around 1200 watts. I plan to add 1000 watts of a solar roof to the boat next. The guys as Tiny Boat Nation were good to work with an I highly recommend them for your E boat needs!!!!

EPropulsion 3.0

Motor is heavier than I expected, but not a problem. I have only tested it once so far. This weekend weather should be better. It's nice that the motor is so quiet. I have to raise the motor up about 7.5 inches. It sits too low right now. The test is this weekend. I put this motor on the back of a Fish & Sport 15 ft pontoon boat. This motor is much better than the Minnkota 24volt I had on it. One wish would be to have the handle extend as done on my other motor.

Absolutely love it!!

Incredible Power

I had a chance to take this motor out for a spin last Monday - 1/31/2023 after I had spent the day Sunday setting up the Battery power source. I paired the motor with a 48V 76AH battery that I purchased on line. Make sure you get one capable of 125Amps discharge without the BMS kicking in. This motor is incredible. My 1442 Alumacraft came up on plane (or what I consider plane) with ease. I was in an Electric only lake and was worried that I would be stopped because I was creating quite a wake. The only thing I would consider a problem is the mass that sits below the water and how well protected it is when I am out on the river. I would like a better prop protection and maybe the ability for this motor to easily "kick up" when it strikes a rock. "All-in-all" I am pleased with this purchase.
